The Morristown Matters Derby Days Committee is honored to announce Dede Allender as the 2026 Derby Days Parade Grand Marshal!

Dede has dedicated decades of service to our community through countless leadership and volunteer roles. From serving as President of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northeastern Hometown Community Fund to her work with the Morristown Community Development Partnership, Morristown Literacy Council, local emergency planning efforts, youth programs, and numerous community organizations, Dede has consistently invested her time, talents, and heart into making Morristown a stronger community.

Her passion for service, commitment to community growth, and ability to bring people together have left a lasting impact on Morristown and the surrounding area. Dede exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and community pride that Derby Days celebrates each year.
